Citrine Tea Mimosa

With Mother’s Day approaching, I wanted to give you a mimosa recipe that was a little different. Of course, these are not limited to special occasions. These mimosas are light + effervescent…perfect for any weekend (or Tuesday).

This mimosa features our Citrine blend. It is perfect for this cocktail being a rooibos blend with orange peel + safflowers. It gives your traditional mimosa a little something extra. I hope you enjoy it, loves! Enjoy, Be Well + Cheers!


Ingredients

Makes 2
  • 2 heaping tsp Citrine

  • 4 oz water, boiling

  • 4 oz orange juice, chilled

  • Sparkling wine, chilled

  • Orange slices, for garnish


Method

Steep to your tea per the instructions + chill (if there is time, feel free to cold brew it). To make a concentrated tea, there is more than what would normally be used.

Once your tea has been brewed + chilled, make each mimosa in a champagne flute or stemless wine glass as follows:

  • 2 oz Citrine

  • 2 oz orange juice

  • Top with sparkling wine

  • Garnish with orange slice
